In 2019, Visit North Carolina sparked more than 7.6 million inquiries. Call Center staff sent 562,818 packages to potential visitors, including Official 2019 North Carolina Travel Guides, State maps, wine guides and other travel-related materials. The Call Center provided personalized service to 78,932 callers, including callers for Visit NC, NC By Rail, NC 511, DOT Customer Service, NC Wine and NC 211. The Call Center also began a series of technological upgrades to increase its capacity and capabilities.
